Acne no more and birth control pills, help acne

Acne is most common among teenagers. Some 80% of people will suffer from acne during the years of puberty. Acne attacks calm down after puberty for the majority of adults. However many adults suffer for many years afterwards and even, in a few cases for decades. It may be difficult to identify the cause of these recurring outbreaks. However there is a considerable amount of evidence to suggest that the following can contribute to acne outbreaks or persistent acne that won't go away.
By definition, an astringent is a substance that by nature causes the skin to constrict. Astringency is the effect caused by the tannins in certain fruits that make your mouth pucker. When you apply an astringent to your skin this causes the blood vessels to constrict and proteins to coagulate; the skin then hardens or toughens up.
There are many common items that you have in your home that can be used to help you in your battle against acne. Some of the common items that you may find in your household that can be used to treat acne would be vitamin A., Aloe Vera, water, lemon juice, tea tree oil and zinc, to name just a few.
